Gnosis Article Series

Tom at Montalk.net has been working on a series of in-depth research articles concerning the Big Picture of what's going on on Earth and in the cosmos, focusing on the role of advanced alchemy, or as he calls it, high Demiurgic technology, in a time war scenario where the prize is the destiny of the universe. One side in this spiritual war is led by the corrupted Demiurge toward materialism and hierarchy, and the other is led by the Christos toward awakening and liberation. How this pertains to us personally, I leave to your own insight and imagination... but if you're interested in such things, I recommend you check out this series.

1 - Corruption of the Demiurge

2 - The Philosopher's Stone

3 - The Holy Grail

4 - Ark of the Covenant

5 - Mosaic Abuse of Demiurgic Technology

6 - Nordic Aliens and the Grail Race

7 - Dawn of a New Cosmic Day

... and more to come...

Story of Us

Observe what is. Let the chatter and the motion go on as it will. Don't force the stillness. It's there, behind the noise. Like a screen, it shows the movie, and may appear to be the movie if you forget yourself, become hypnotized by the moving picture, the appearance of reality. But if you focus on the screen itself, you may begin to feel the impression of looking into a mirror. Two eyes looking out at two eyes looking back in. Who is this presence? It is yourself. It is pure awareness. It is the only eternal thing; all else is projection, flickering by, frame by infinitesimal frame, each seemingly created and destroyed in turn, yet so fast as to appear continuous. This is the flow of time, which doesn't really flow, because it doesn't really exist, except as a subjective, illusory experience. A dream. Because, after all, what else is there for an infinite, singular awareness to do?

Spirit and matter. Creator and created. We are the confluence of both. Through countless aeons of time, matter organizes itself according to the patterns suggested by Spirit, imprinted upon the aether as spiraling forms of purest, subtlest energy. On the molecular level, a miraculous thing occurs: the omnipresent Spirit retreats almost entirely from view. Matter seems ruled by raw mechanics, blind forces, a chaoarchy of chance and determinism. But the first simple forms of life evolve spontaneously, ubiquitously, wherever a suitable mix of ingredients is present and the conditions allow for it. And so begins the wondrous progression of complexity, from cell to multicell, until entire planets are covered with richly woven tapestries of life, ecosystems interwebbed in a gloriously dynamic order. The underlying patterns of energy inspire an endless variety of forms, periodically transforming as the frequency turns up in quantum shifts that emanate from the hot galactic centers.

We are the next step. The group souls of the animal kingdom, defined at the level of species, begin to differentiate into individual souls, capable of self-reflection. A humanoid form arises. Now begins the most challenging phase, as consciousness bridges the gap from instinctive animal behaviour through to peaceful, space-faring culture. There are other options, too, for those so inclined: realms above and below this plane, reachable after many lifetimes of work at those times when the veil dividing them is briefly parted. It is here, however, that we are able to experience the forces of both heaven and hell in equal measure, according to our choice. In this crucible is forged, from the base material of primitive man, a purer being.

Spirit awakens from its dormancy and becomes a living spark. That flame of the heart, the most noble part of man, guides, enlightens, and sanctifies his being. It will teach him of courage, and beauty, and love, with endless patience so long as it still burns. If he will heed its tutelage, the way will be opened before him and he will walk through the shadows in its flickering light.

Monsters and shades of monsters will threaten. The worst of them will come from within. But no matter how fearsome they may be, they will never be able to destroy the one who guards that precious light in her bosom, though they kill the flesh and feed on the very soul. Many battles will be lost ere the first is won, yet in time the victories will come more easily – or would, but for the ancient law of the worthy adversary and the burden equal to one's strength. All is arranged with a distinct purpose ordained by Spirit, all for the incremental progress of the soul on its chosen path of experience.

And so we come to the crisis point, a time of epic potential. Evils are unleashed that were previously unimaginable. For it is only under the uttermost existential threat that the portion of Spirit that sleeps the deepest may be persuaded to rise up and be counted. But when it does, when the awakening in its fullness at last unfolds, there is no limit to what is possible. From there we go on to a new phase and a new dawn, in which a global humanity, now reunited with its brothers and sisters from afar, begins its incredible journey into the great expansive frontier of the stars.

Play from your HEART!

Bill Hicks, ladies and gentlemen. One of the most offensive comedians of all time. He also happens to have been one of the very, very best. How is that? Well... the fact that he saw through the manufactured bullshit that masquerades as “reality” and called it out for what it was. The fact that he was totally unafraid to be seen for what he was: nobody special, just a guy with a taste for vulgar jokes and a gift for telling them. He was more than that, of course. He was a man of uncompromising integrity, brutal honesty, deep humility... and he did what he did because he loved to do it. No other reason could have driven him.

Today I listened to a couple of songs by Rage Against the Machine (Wake Up and Calm Like a Bomb, from the Matrix soundtracks). I listened in a way that I'm just discovering how to do (although I've probably been doing it all along): such that my internal state of mind is at its own place of repose, while the music plays out around me. I could appreciate the soundwaves, the thoughts and emotions without getting attached to them myself. I don't know if or how this is a productive way to listen, but it appeals to me. It's a way that I can apply to any genre of music, even (and especially) music that is full of angst and rage and darkness. I don't have to go to the place where the music is coming from in my totality, just enough to appreciate it. It's enough to have been there myself at some point in the past. You might ask why I would do this. Why listen to music that's not in line with where I'm at in my innermost? That's a good question.

Part of the answer is that the world is not in line with where I'm at or where I'd like it to be at. That's something that I just have to make my peace with. Appreciating music that comes from a human being's experience of this tortured reality while also holding peace and unconditional love in my heart... it feels real. It feels like healing, somehow.

Bill Hicks had a lot to say about music and the music industry. He made no bones about his distaste for empty, mass-produced, ego-driven dreck. He ranted against banality and mediocrity. He also praised those artists who he saw as having done humanity a service through their music, who played from their hearts.

I listen to a lot of different genres of music. I've never become an expert or a connoisseur of any particular one. Rather, I simply listen to whatever I find that appeals to me. Imagine my surprise when I discovered this artist. Here is someone who plays a genre so apparently full of garbage (in my uneducated opinion) and yet comes across as a true artist with a genuine message. Ana Free is (to me) a diamond in the rough. Her music comes from her heart. And what a heart it is! Beautiful. Generous. True. - And she's pretty, to boot! (grin) Anyway, lest I sound like I'm advertising (ahem), she is what she is, her music is what it is. You may like it or you may not, it doesn't matter.

“Play from your heart.” That's all well and good for those with a talent for making music... what about the rest of us, like me? I think the answer is obvious enough: whatever your talents happen to be, use them to express what you feel, the things that matter, the things that inspire you. Don't be afraid of what people are going to think. Don't worry about whether it's got market value. Those things are distractions! They don't matter! What matters is that you believe in what you're doing. If you can find something you would do for free, without any hope of recognition from the world, just because it gives you joy and fulfillment... do it. Whatever you feel is your purpose for being here now, do it. You will know what that is, because it will come from deep inside you and the mere thought of doing it will fill you with energy.

Play well, yes... but more important than that is to play from your heart. And it's more than likely that it'll come to the same thing anyway.

Ana Free - Try (Live)

I forgot so that I might remember once again

As you know, I was recently given a test in life. One of those experiences that life throws at you just to see how you react to the circumstances, I guess. Circumstances that may look challenging, but can also offer a needed opportunity to go beyond your comfort zone, to learn something new, or remember something you'd lost sight of along the way.

Now that the trying situation has come to its happy resolution, it is time for me to reflect: how did I do? On the one hand, well; on the other, not so well. Five days of total isolation did not bring out the best in me at some points. I found myself terrified of facing the quiet, clear reflection of my own thoughts and feelings in the mirror of my mind and heart, and so I did everything I could to disturb the surface. I even overwhelmed my senses with loud, restless, pounding music, with a certain vengeful satisfaction at disturbing my neighbours as well, which is totally out of character for me. It was a far cry from where I'd been at the beginning of my trial, when the isolation only worked in my favour as I purified myself and moved into the power of stillness.

I don't know how seriously I believe in interdimensional interference. Certainly a number of people of integrity and knowledge whom I highly respect are of the opinion that such things go on, and some have described their extensive experiences of them in detail. My own experience leads me to consider the idea a reasonable one. I have had unequivocal subjective proof that hyperdimensional forces are active in my life, guiding me, giving inspiration, and effecting some mind-blowing synchronicity. Why, then, should I disbelieve that negative forces are also at work on me, doing everything in their power to lead me astray, distract me, weaken me, and prevent me from fulfilling my potential?

Is the notion too wild to entertain that, by engaging in spiritual warfare, I made myself more of a target? I may have, I don't know. Or maybe all that is just another way of seeing things, another illusion that points the way to the truth. After all, there's nothing external that doesn't somehow reflect something internally. If I succumbed to a non-material counterattack, that means I still have work to do on myself. I should qualify that: I have a lot of work to do on myself. And I've just barely begun that work, even having come as far as I have in some ways.

I once half-jokingly told a friend on Internet chat that I consider myself a Jedi, and that I'm just waiting for my Force abilities to activate. Big LOL there, no? Just waiting around isn't going to make them appear, of course. Universe, however, is kicking me in the direction I need to go, so waiting around isn't even an option. And the more I start to carry my own weight in the right direction, the more I will find universe meeting me halfway, boosting me forward.

Knowing what to do is easy. I've been hearing what I need to do from so many people, so many sources, including the voice of my own inner knowing. The first and foremost thing I need to do is to consistently seek God. And the only place a person can “get” God is within themselves. That's where the divine spark is that sustains our life and is indeed made in the image of the One. To practice that connection to Source is the key to an abundant life. It is necessary to meditate, or pray, daily, and not in a half-assed way, either. It has to be absolutely the single most important thing in my life. I had grasped that before the holidays, and then I forgot it again just as easily in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. That is what I had lost sight of, and may well have been the main reason why I had to go through this five-day blackout and the ersatz insanity that came with it. It showed me how lost I am without that awareness of God, without my recommended daily intake of Awake, Focused, Here and Now.

No one ever said this would be easy. I'm still at a stage where I'm wavering between strength and weakness, remembering and forgetting. For every victory there is a defeat, but I am reminded of the motion of a pendulum: every swing moves the hands of the clock forward another notch. There will always be challenges; of that I am sure. But as what was challenging before is easier now, so the future will bring ever greater challenges. From each according to his ability. No one is given a burden beyond their ability to bear. I find that, for all the complaints I might choose to make, my burden is still mine, and it still fits me perfectly. Really, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Adiemus - Adiemus on YouTube

P.S. This morning, when I woke up, I put on some music from Adiemus' Songs of Sanctuary. The effect was immediate and overpowering: my emotional dam, which had been doing such a wonderful job of shielding me these past few days, broke to smithereens and I found myself weeping uncontrollably for several minutes, followed by alternating and intermingled laughter and tears. Perceiving the simultaneous horror, tragedy, and injustice of this harsh world together with its incredibly noble, stoic beauty, and the possibility of Sanctuary from it all, is what did it. It is at once a heart-rending and a cosmically humorous scenario that we are in, we humans.

The canine lyricist: doG of war

War is bad. We don't like war. Never wanted it.

But we got one anyway.

There's no draft, except in cases of inescapable destiny. You might call that a soul contract. But even that's a choice, at bottom. We've got more than a few individuals with us who've agreed to play their heroic roles in this conflict at the end of all things. Les Visible is one of them.

We've got a man who was the epitome of non-violence, who actually was physically beaten more than once in his youth and never chose to fight back. Later, a kundalini experience gave him access to martial arts skills developed in other incarnations, and maybe some finer tricks as well. No more kicking the dog and getting away with it now. No, no, no. Although, fortunately, the later circumstances of his life no longer offer the small-time kickers much of a chance to even try their luck.

Karma. It's a bitch. And if you think national debts in the trillions (not to mention human casualties of war, poverty, oppression, and disease breaking into the billions) are big, wait till you see the payback some of the folks responsible for them have got coming. I don't even want to think about it. Such ugly thoughts to be having when there's all this infinite Love all around, you know?

But God has many faces.

Now, I have no patience for the divisive, warmongering, tribalistic foolishness of Jehovah. He may be due for his own payback, I don't know. But let me frame this in terms of aspects of the Creator. There's Krishna. And there's Shiva. We've had a lot of Krishna (Christos) – not that we've generally appreciated that – but Shiva's here too.* And Les, apparently, has been in conversation with both – or is that the One that encompasses both? Anyway, they've come to an understanding.

Does that scare you? It shouldn't. There's nothing to fear, except fear itself, which is illusion and cannot coexist with the presence and the realization of truth, which is Love.

Love is what will carry us to victory in this war. Les, for his part, is a tool in the hand of something beyond my ability to grok. And he's brilliant. I follow his blogs, shall I say, religiously. (Hee hee, couldn't resist using that word. It's like farting and then laughing about it.) There's the metaphysically-oriented Visible Origami, my personal favourite. Then there's the socio-political Smoking Mirrors, the cultural Reflections in a Petri Dish, and the poetic Visible Stream of Consciousness. All excellent, all very much worth looking at. He also does a twice-monthly radio broadcast and has recorded several songs for your listening pleasure and spiritual eduma– edufa– ...ed-i-fi-ca-tion. (What an exhausting word. The other one, I mean. I don't blame Les at all for quitting school early. I wasn't nearly so smart.)

I think that's all I have to say. Oh, and

* Yeah, I mangle my Hindu concepts pretty noobishly. But you know what I mean. (handwave)

Faces of the New Renaissance: David Wilcock

David Wilcock has had an active Internet presence since the '90s, and his popularity has steadily risen. He started his public career doing dream readings, but stopped when the demand became too great to keep up with. He's best known for his research into consciousness science, based on the idea that consciousness is an omnipresent energy field that underlies all physical phenomena. In support of this and related hypotheses, he presents a considerable amount of persuasive evidence from experimental data that, all too often, has been glossed over, shrugged off, or swept under the rug by the mainstream scientific community. Eventually, I believe, the stuff he talks about will be commonly accepted in crotchety ol' academic circles as well. ;)

David's work is quite broad in scope. In addition to the research, the writing, and the lecturing, he has produced a double-length music album in collaboration with Larry Seyer called Wanderer Awakening. David did the drum section and all the vocals himself. I have listened to it many times, despite the fact that the music genre (varieties of '60s–'70s classic rock) was mostly rather foreign to my pre-existing tastes. The album has grown on me, however, and it always leaves me in a refreshed and uplifted state of mind and heart. If I have any criticism, it's that his lyrics are sometimes kinda literal and preachy, in a prosy style for the most part – but actually, now that I think about it, there's a lot of poetic bits too, more open to interpretation. Some might be put off by the fact that the narrator starts out as a cosmic creator-being who then descends to a human level, but I think the premise is executed well in an artistic sense and can be appreciated without necessarily buying into the philosophy. The closing words of the album resonate so deeply in my soul that it's almost scary. (grin) But seriously, it's all about releasing fear and the desire for control, embracing love and freedom instead. “Love is everything / Everything is Love.” How can you get any truer than that?

David's profile just keeps on rising these days. He's set to appear in a TV documentary about 2012, and he's producing a feature film called Convergence. I look forward to both.

The biggest criticism David attracts is aimed at his position on President Barack Obama. He's convinced that Obama is ultimately his own man, and will actually be an agent of the positive “change” he promised in his election campaign. This stands in sharp contrast to the apparent near-consensus in conspiraciology spheres, which paints Obama as a puppet of globalist masters, the international banksters and powerbrokers of Bilderberg and CFR infamy. My own position is one of reserved judgement, the “wait and see” approach. I certainly hope David is right, but at the moment there are too many conflicting messages for me to be convinced either way. Still, Obama's a heck of a lot easier to believe in than Senators McCain or Clinton would have been. I see him as a sort of blank screen, on which people can project whatever they expect to see, and that's probably intentional to some degree. Time will tell what he's really made of. The real litmus tests are yet to come, I think.

David's other “soft spot” is his claim to be the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce. That's one of those things nobody can really prove, and to his credit, I guess, David has downplayed this aspect since coming out with the claim. It's ultimately neither here nor there, and I think those detractors of DW who focus on this aspect are really missing the point. It's basically an ad hominem attack, I'd say, because the Edgar Cayce thing has no bearing whatsoever on David's actual message.

And I do believe that that message will continue to reach more people and find more resonance in the world. David's message is very positive, infectiously so. He certainly acknowledges the negative, as he must if he is to be taken seriously, but works it all into a context and a core understanding that inspires one to have faith in the ultimate benevolence of the universe, and in the bright future of humankind. More power to him.

Time travel claim! O_o

I was browsing Godlike Productions this morning. That in itself is rather unusual, since my overwhelming impression of the place is the Internet equivalent of a procession of garbage trucks dumping load after load of random, worthless trash, much of it malodorous. Sure, there might be a few rare treasures amongst the refuse, but sifting through the piles for it just doesn't feel worth the trouble. Still, as a reading experience, it's a step up from the dreaded YouTube comment sections. I even read those sometimes. *shudder*

(I might as well mention that the path that brought me there was a Google search for "sleep deprivation hallucination," which was on my mind after a sleepless night due to the latest "high" cycle of my often bipolar disorder-like mood tendencies. I did find quite a deliciously disturbing tale, halfway down this page, in which Time behaves very, very badly.)

As chance would have it, one particularly active discussion thread, titled "I traveled through time," caught my eye. It was started by the cryptically named 369.994 on August 20th, the day before yesterday, and has reached nine pages as of this writing.

GLP, understandably, is a veritable tall tale magnet, attracting cranks, weirdos, and disinfo artists of all stripes. I'm sure this type of extraordinary claim is nothing new to the folks who frequent the place. Still, I'm more than a little intrigued by this case. There's nothing about it, in my opinion, that clearly and unquestionably places it in the hoax bin, despite all the usual calls of "B.S." from posters eager to prove their own talent for seeing through contrived, fallacious, and inflated crap.

369.994, if he (or she) is merely stringing us along, has played the role of a time-traveling future "amateur psyentist" pretty much flawlessly. His manner is sincere and no-nonsense. To my layman's understanding of such things, the presented scientific principles (and limitations) of the technologies he claims to be using seem plausible. His answers to people's questions about the future make perfect, simple, logical sense to my way of thinking and looking forward. If he's faking, then at least it's a good, entertaining fake! =)

To me, the most interesting question, especially if this is all for real, is the motive. In a more recent topic on another site, 369.994 claims to be from the year 2079, conducting a "social experiment." Of course, that would make sense from the hoax perspective, too! It's fun to imagine, though, what would motivate me to go back 70 years into the past and invite people to ask me about their perceived future / my perceived past. I'd probably do it just because I could! ;) Besides that, though, I think the time period in question, the next 70 years, is gearing up to be so unbelievably transformative that I'd see myself as potentially providing a genuine service by preparing people's minds just a little bit for some of the massive changes to come.

In response to queries on how to get through the turbulent times ahead, 369.994 recommended living in peace and ensuring one's own supply of clean drinking water and fresh, organic foods. Darn good advice in any case!

Our mysterious numeronymous friend also left us with a noteworthy unsolicited tidbit: a friendly suggestion to seek out and listen to something called "Invocation from Thoth's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza." I found an MP3 by that name here. Who knows, there might be something to it. :) Leastways, this whole deal seems to carry a theme of sound, waves, frequency, music. I find myself wondering what's so special about F sharp... its frequency is, after all, 369.994 hertz... -.^ Hmmm.

Cryoshell - Bye Bye Babylon

Watch the music video here.

Release...
Let me take on eternity
Taking one more step, and let it rip through me
I'm building up my nerve
So you can wish me well
Or you can wish me hell
From pride we'll fall!

Bye bye, Babylon!
Was reaching for the sun
Depraving everyone
So don't you know
You don't belong.

Bye bye, Babylon!
Now scattered, you will run
Left burning in the sun
Prepare to be
Bye bye, Babylon, be gone!

Unseen...
The prime obstruction is facing me
I wanted to retreat, but you won't let me be
I'm calling for belief
Be sure, I will be there
And you will fall!

Bye bye, Babylon!
Now scattered, you will run
Left burning in the sun
Prepare to be
Bye bye, Babylon, be gone!

Bye bye, Babylon, be gone!

Bye bye, Babylon, be gone!

-------------

This song works on several levels. I like to interpret it from the perspective of where I stand personally.

Translate "Babylon" as "New World Order" and this song instantly becomes relevant to our time.

Our modern civilizations have been ruled through the millennia by secret bloodlines that trace their lineage back to the fallen Atlantis. This invisible ruling class has been behind every major religion and every post-diluvian empire since ancient Sumer and Babylonia. The current crop of globalist leaders and minions collectively known as the New World Order -- including religious figureheads, bankers, politicians, corporate multi-billionaires, occult media sorcerers, and various hi-tech black-ops agencies -- are simply the latest incarnation of the control system that has ever tried to herd humanity like so many sheep for the slaughter.

I do not delude myself with imaginings of some formal conspiracy between these folks to try to take over the world. They are just people doing their thing, acting out their personal aspirations. Most of them are well-intentioned on some level, but many are also misguided. Some, by their actions, betray a complete lack of empathy for their fellow human beings. We might call these people psychopaths.

These dark elements within the upper echelons of power have gained such inordinate influence in today's world that their conceited machinations are now plain to see. They no longer even try to hide the fact that they want to institute world government and a total matrix grid of control. Especially since the false-flag terror ritual of 9-11, their totalitarian tiptoe has broken into a full sprint. Little do they realize, in the dizzying heights of their hubris, the sad depth of their error.

History runs in cycles. So does nature. The precessional cycle of Earth, the "Great Year" or "Galactic Day," is about 26,000 years. Atlantis fell about 12,000 years ago. The Atlanteans, in the glory of their advanced civilization, had become arrogant. They played at being gods with powerful technologies that they were not capable of using responsibly, and caused much suffering. Sound familiar? Well, nature had an answer for that, unfortunately for them. The planetary upheaval wiped the slate clean, leaving almost no trace of Atlantis save a few ruins and a few scattered survivors to carry on the torch of civilization.

"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." This applies to us all. Modern science and ancient prophecies both tell us clearly that Earth changes are coming once again. The secret governments of the world have been preparing by building underground cities at the cost of hundreds of billions of dollars. Guess what? The builders have found the remains of ancient underground cities deeper and larger than their own. This has all happened before.

So the new Babylon is, willy-nilly, setting itself up to fall. Is there a method to this madness? If there is, it must be on a level above these duped humans and their desperate schemes.

I suspect it has to do with the great awakening I see happening. The game is becoming so obvious that more and more people who were previously dreaming the dreams of false reality perpetuated by the professional liars in mainstream media, politics, and religion, are starting to see through those illusions. People are demanding truth and transparency. They realize they've been lied to. They're as mad as hell and they're not going to take it anymore. This concept is so oft repeated in the circles of the aware that it's become cliché.

There's more to it, of course, than the awakening to these and other concrete facts of the world around us. There's a parallel awakening to the inner reality of who we are. And that leads me to the other element of this song: the 'I.'

The speaker is a person I relate to very much. She is gradually "releasing" falsehood and limitation, to take on that which is eternal. One step at a time. She's letting the experience pass through her, not holding back. Building up her nerve for what's to come and what it will demand of her. "So you can wish me well / or you can wish me hell" -- depending on how she plays, the potential is there for victory or defeat. In any event, she knows that her own false pride won't be doing her any good.

"Unseen..." Everything in herself of which she is unaware. The "prime obstruction" is her greatest inner demon, the one blocking the way forward at every turn, again and again. Retreat is not an option in the face of the dragon within nor of the dragon without -- Babylon in all its forms. Faith is needed: faith in herself, and faith in the universe. Together they are invincible. She swears to "be there" to see Babylon fall.

"Bye bye, Babylon, be gone!"

I've obviously projected my own worldview onto these lyrics, but the way everything fits makes me wonder if the songwriter didn't have something similar in mind. Who knows? On the other hand, you can just as well read this song as simply a promotion of this year's BIONICLE storyline. This band's previous songs for the BIONICLE franchise, however, are equally resonant with my understandings of deeper issues. Multiple levels, as always. I'll explore those songs in future entries. :)
